Bandito started its business in the summer of 2012 as a renting stable for anyone willing to rent any horse for certain time. Our stable is located in the marvelous nature of Finnish Lapland. We have extremely good and fresh water, beautiful hills and fells. This little stable includes six horses living their good livelihood as friends with their exquisite sized stalls and two large separate fields for summer. At the yard you may see a medium sized court and a good-conditioned manege. In the stable there is a shower place for horses and also a place for shoeing. Each horse has their own equipment, all for the renter's use! Wish You enjoy our modest friendly stable by heart.
In shorter words, everything is about our six delicate horses which I wish You will find your favorite one. The basic idea of this stable is that whoever wishes to rent a certain horse, it is possible, depending on whether it is already rented or not. You may decide yourself how long you wish to rent one horse. This way everyone has the chance to try different horses on their own, entertain themselves by writing stories in english which is not that usual in finnish stables.
I would really love You to inform also if You are possibly going to stay at the stable for longer time. In that case I can also give you virtual money (v€) which may be useful in the future at the stable shop that is in Finnish. If You are willing to become a permanent horse renter at our stable this is very useful as if you wish to buy something for your horse or yourself. The maximum number of v€ I can give is 50v€ which is not that easy to gain.
Also, renters have the right and privilege to notify their horse for sim-game competitions if willing to. Maximum amount of riding for a horse per day is three to four hours, plus one free day per week. Remember the basic things with your horse like cleaning, feeding and taking it out. Your help at the stable is appreciated, any kind of effort you can give for the common good is spectacular, also it gives a good impression in my eyes, and it may have some advantage in the future.
As a renter's request is accepted by me in the guestbook, the renter gets his/her own name on the "Members' Corner" page. There, each renter has their own diary where to write the stories. Each diary is personal, but other comments are allowed in gentle format. Furthermore You can enjoy my latest news and regards to You readers. In addition, I will update news about me and my virtual horse.

People probably imagine this stable very differently in their heads, right? Therefore we do not have a picture of our stable as a map, because I wish to hear everyone's own delightful personal image of this small stable. Imagination is the main thing as writing the stories! Still, here are some basic things of the stable for everyone in their unique stories.
Wide, natural, various kinds of cross country possibilities. Also separate fields on the way around the paths there are cross country jumping areas, in use for everyone. Lots of streams, lakes and pounds to swim and drink your horse. You cannot get lost in this large area, there are signs everywhere to show way for you! Also, for adventurous people, there is a hut with a fire place to stay over night with your horse.
- Medium-sized court
- Good-conditioned manege
- Three smaller enclosures, each for separate sexes
- Two large pastures for summer time, separately stallions, mares+geldings (used from June to Autumn nonstop)
- One small stable which can fit in all six horses and just in case of visitors, also two more.

About enclosures, they are used throughout the year, except on rainy or extremely cold days all along. After horses' breakfast (which they get at 8:00 Am) they are taken straightaway to the enclosures (9:00 Am) with rugs. In the evening at 20:00 every horse is taken inside and then they have their second proper food.
The wagon rests in winter,
the sleigh in summer,
the horse never.

Feeding
IS IMPORTANT WITH OUR HORSES. EVERY SUMMER SINCE THEY EAT FRESH GRASS FROM THE PASTURE THEY DO NOT GET AS MUCH FOOD AS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, BUT STILL IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THEY GET MINERALS, OATS, PELLETS AND MUESLI.
Summer
Morning:
Every summer morning at 8:00 we bring muesli, pellets, oats (not for stallions) and minerals in their vats, check that their water taps work. Give them half an hour break and then bring the horses out with their rugs, or without, depending on the weather again. Evening: In the summery days when the horses are out at their pastures (depending on the weather conditions), we bring them hay with wheelbarrows, one per horse (=two pastures, one for geldings and mares which gets 4 wheelbarrows of hay, and one stallion pasture which gets two wheelbarrows of hay) and this is done at 20:00 Pm. No more food by the evening, and if it seems like it starts to rain, You can bring the horses inside to sleep. Remember to remove the rugs. |
Other Seasons
Morning:
Every morning at 8:00 we bring two fathoms of hay for each horse, and also give muesli, pellets, oats (not for stallions) and minerals, check the water tap. Give them half an hour break and then bring them in their enclosures at 9:00 with a rug. Evening: Every evening at 20:00 the horses are brought inside the stable to rest and eat. They need to have the food ready there, meaning again two fathoms of hay per horse, but no other stuff in their vats. |
Hygiene
© Vikarus: http://www.foto-vik.ru
As we all know hygiene is a really important part of everyday life. The same thing is with our stable. Everyone takes part in common cleaning habits, what you've done, you clean it. Here are some common features what You can do to help us. Remember that the stable is small, so this is not that much to ask.
-Everyday the stalls are cleaned of horses' waste, but only once a week on Sunday morning when the horses are at the pasture the sawdust is changed.
-On Sunday also the water taps of the horses are being cleaned.
-At the pastures during summer days the vats need to be cleaned of bits of food.
-Everyday the corridors of the stable need to be cleaned with a broomstick. This is an everyday habit that anyone willing to help can do, while the horses are out or in the stalls. This is just for common conditions of the stable, and doesn't it look more pleasant to step into a clean stable!
-If you give carrots or apples to horses as snacks from the package at the equipment room, remember to close it because of rats and mice!
-To avoid rotten stable, please make sure that as you wash the horses, all the water gets into the sewer. This way the stable lasts longer.
-Never leave wet things in the stable to dry! Every equipment you wash and clean needs to be dried out, so the evaporation does not get into the woods.

Remember

- Ponder carefully how much time you can give for your horse. You can rent it again whenever it is free and even try other horses if wish so. After Your request has been accepted, You get your nickname on "Members' Corner" page and Your personal diary to write the stories onto.
- Write at least some stories about you and horse, what you did with it, how was it like... Anything that could possibly give a nice flow and description for the story.
- I always read the story of yours with great pleasure, even though I might correct some grammar things or such, never mind. Basic things that I am looking for are paragraphs, sentence structure, commas and the quality of the story. The length of the story does not mean that much but the quality means the most.
- Dialogues are always a nice piece of extra in your stories. Add them if possible.
Action

If You have your own virtual stable and you would like to for example:
Please ask me in the Guestbook, which You can find from "Contact". I would be very pleased of competition invitations, but of course it is hard to join all. Also, some of our renters might want to join in, so please advertise them, but remember the equity.
Every now and then, not too usually, I may arrange some competitions, either public or then between the renters and their horses. Competitions of all kind: dressage, showjumping, cross country and shows. I will announce about them on "Home" page separately. Keep in mind that You can always suggest new ideas and thoughts e.g. what You would want more and what less etc...
About Breeding:
Mainly our stable works only as a stable for our lovely six horses and renters, but if You have been looking for a stallion for your mare and You wish to use one of our stallions, feel free to ask more. Anything you feel unsure about, just ask, in finnish or in english.
